Delivering online classes

During the coronavirus pandemic, we relaxed our usual rules and we are currently allowing Licence Holders to deliver online Clubbercise classes.

The classes must meet the following requirements:

Classes need to be streamed live online to a limited audience

  • Classes cannot be pre-recorded or recorded and shared afterwards 'on demand', both publicly and privately
  • Classes cannot be streamed publicly on platforms including, but not limited to, Facebook or Instagram, they can only be streamed in private groups
  • Classes cannot be streamed to participants/members of unlicensed gyms/fitness centres (this only applies to Venue Licence holders)
  • Class participants must be informed that for legal reasons they cannot record and/or share videos of the classes themselves

If the option to deliver online classes is going to be stopped or if the above requirements change we will give you at least 1 month's notice.

IMPORTANT! You are responsible for:

  • Checking that your music licence covers you for delivering live classes online
  • Checking that you are insured to teach fitness classes online
  • Checking that you are legally allowed to broadcast on the platform you are using (check the terms & conditions)
  • Ensuring that you comply with any other legal requirements relating to delivering fitness classes online that may apply in your region/country
